40% Bran Flake Cookies

1 1/2 c flour
2 tsp baking powder                 Mix together and drop by
1/2 tsp salt                        spoonsful on ungreased cookie
1/2 c butter or oleo                sheet.  Bake at 325° for
3/4 c br sugar                      8 - 10 min.
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 c nuts, crushed
1 c raisens
1 c 40% Bran Flakes

Baby Ruth Cookies

1/2 c butter or oleo-)
3/4 c wh sugar-------)  cream together.      Chill.  Drop by
1 egg, beaten                                spoonful on greased
1 1/3 c flour                                cookie sheet.  Bake
1/2 tsp salt                                 8 - 10 min at 325°.
1/2 tsp vanilla
2 small Baby Ruth bars, cut in small pieces.

Ginger Snaps

2 c molasses                   Add enough flour to make a stiff
2 c br sugar                   dough.  Form into small balls &
1 c lard                       press flat with fingers.  Bake on
1 c cold water                 ungreased cookie sheet at 325°
1/2 c wh sugar                 for 8 - 10 min.
1 tsp soda
1 egg

Macaroons

2 egg whites , beaten until stiff.
1 c wh sugar, added to egg whites a little at a time.
1 c corn flakes, crushed--) 
pinch of salt             ) -- Fold in.  Drop on well-greased
1 c coconut ------------- )    cookie sheet.  Bake at 325° for
                               12 - 15 min.

Oatmeal Cookies

1 c sugar                        Can add 1 c raisens.
1 c shortening                   Drop by spoonsful on ungreased
6 Tbsp milk                      cookie sheet.  Bake at 325° for
2 c dry oatmeal                  8 - 10 min.
2 eggs
2 c flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt

Peanut Butter Cookies

1/2 c shortening ---)
1/2 c peanut butter ) --Cream together.
1/3 c br sugar -----)                        Chill.  Drop by
3/4 c dark syrup--)  Add.                    spoonsful on ungreased
1 egg  -----------)                          cookie sheet and flatten
2 c flour                                    with a fork.  Bake at
2/4 tsp soda                                 325° for 8 - 10 min.
1/2 tsp baking powder                        Remove while still
1/4 tsp salt                                 warm.
