Microwave Carmel Popcorn

1 lb brown sugar            )   In 4 qt mirowave safe dish, combine
½ c butter or margarine     )   sugar, butter, syrup, water & salt.
½ c dark corn syrup         )-- Microwave on high for 12 minutes,
1 Tbsp water                )   stirring after 5 minutes.  Add soda
1 tsp salt                  )   & pour over corn, mix together.
2 tsp soda                  )
3 qts popped corn (large blue roaster level full)
1 c skinned, roasted peanuts, optional

Spread on cookie sheet or aluminum foil and cool.  Can make into
popcorn balls.
