Amish Cookies
1 cup white sugar 1 cup margarine 1 cup powdered sugar (sifted) 1 cup vegetable oil Mix well. Add: 2 eggs 1 tsp. cream of tartar 4½ cups sifted flour 1 tsp. vanilla 1 tsp. baking soda Form into balls the size of English walnuts. Pres down slightly. Bake at 375* for 12-13 minutes. Remove from baking sheet to bread board to cool. Sprinkle sugar on top.
