Chocolate Oatmeal Cake

1½ c cooked oatmeal, thinned slightly with hot water
       OR
1¼ c boiling water      )
1 c quick oatmeal       ) --Mix together and let stand 20 minutes.
1 stick margarine (½ c) )
1 c white sugar     )
1 c brown sugar     )
2 eggs              ) --Add+Mix well and pour into greased 9" x 13"
1 c flour           )       cake pan.  Bake at 350° for 35 min.
1 tsp soda          )        *Is especially good with peanut butter
½ c cocoa           )         frosting.
1 tsp baking powder )
½ tsp salt          )
1 tsp vanilla       )
